Where is this WordCamp being held?

WordCamp Santa Clarita 2026 returns to the 110,000-square-foot University Center on the campus of College of the Canyons. Offering stunning panoramic views of the Santa Clarita Valley, it is the perfect setting to celebrate the WordPress Open-Source Project and its vibrant and eclectic Community.

How accessible is the venue?

We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident navigating WordCamp Santa Clarita. At the Valencia campus of College of the Canyons, the University Center was thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind.

You’ll find features like wheelchair ramps or lifts at entrances, wide automatic doors, and an elevator that serves every floor. Clear, accessible signage—including Braille and tactile lettering—along with bright, welcoming lighting helps make getting around easier for all attendees, including those with visual or mobility needs.

Is it easy to find?

The University Center is visible from Interstate 5 and just minutes from great places to stay, along with city and regional transit centers, shopping, museums, outdoor and family-friendly activities, and nightlife.

Directions 

Driving from points to the south

Take Interstate 5 north exiting at McBean Parkway; turn right onto McBean Parkway. At Rockwell Canyon (traffic light), turn left onto Rockwell Canyon Road. Take a left (traffic light) to enter the college at University Center Drive. Follow the road up to WordCamp Santa Clarita 2026; parking is free.

Driving from points to the north

Take Interstate 5 south to Valencia Boulevard (just past Magic Mountain). Exit freeway and turn left onto Valencia Boulevard. At the fourth light (counting the off-ramp light) turn right onto Rockwell Canyon Road. Enter the college at University Center Drive (at the only traffic signal on Rockwell and the fifth parking lot entrance on the right); parking is free.

Public and Private Transportation Options 

The University Center is easily accessible by bike, bus, train, or ride-hailing services:

• Two Metrolink Regional Rail stations (Antelope Valley Line Newhall Station and Santa Clarita Station) in conjuction with Santa Clarita Transit*; 
• Santa Clarita Transit bus service (Routes 4, 14, 757) radiating out from the McBean Regional Transit Center, 1.4 miles northeast of the campus;
• Lyft or Uber ride-hailing services; and
• Use trip planning apps/websites like Maps or Moovit

*Note: If using public transit, WordCamp Santa Clarita 2026 will be held on Friday and Saturday so check transit schedules which may be operating on weekend schedules.
