WordCamps happen all year round, all around the world and come in all different flavors, based on the local communities that produce them. In general, WordCamps include sessions on how to use WordPress more effectively, beginning plugin and theme development, advanced techniques, security, discussions, and hands-on opportunities.
How much does WordCamp cost?
WordCamps are the best conference value around. For the price of lunch for two ($40), you’ll receive two full days of content, lunch, snacks, and beverages, swag and networks opportunities with influencers and creators in the WordPress space. Toss in an After-Party for a complete weekend of learning and fun!
Compare this with other conferences, such as Dreamforce, Ignite, or Adobe MAX or Summit which can cost between $1200 and $3000 — WordCamp attendees realize incredible bang for the buck.
WordPress in Santa Clarita
Each month WordPress Santa Clarita Valley Meetup gathers at the Santa Clarita Library Old Town Branch here in the Valley. We provide help with your WordPress website, offer topical presentations from key members and partners in the WordPress space, and network. The WordCamp Santa Clarita Valley Meetup was established to build community locally as opposed to having to stay behind or drive to downtown Los Angeles or other surrounding areas to give back or contribute to WordPress.
